Alternative Dispute Resolution Services
Morgan offers the following alternative dispute resolution services:
Mediation
Mediation is a confidential process where a neutral third party helps individuals in conflict work together to find a mutually acceptable solution. Mediation is based on the principle of self-determination, meaning the parties, not a judge or arbitrator, decide what is best for their situation and maintain control over the outcome of their dispute. Morgan has completed 40-hour mediation training through the Parent-Team Expert Certification course and is an experienced mediator in family law and landlord-tenant law.
Parenting Coordination
Parenting Coordination is an out-of-court, child-centered process designed to assist parents in carrying out an existing parenting plan and resolving any conflicts that arise during its implementation. Morgan has completed Parent Coordination training through the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
Collaborative Law
Collaborative law is a voluntary, out-of-court, team-based approach commonly used to resolve matters such as divorce, child custody, and probate. The collaborative law process brings together a team of multi-disciplinary neutral professionals, including mental health experts, financial specialists, and communication coaches to support informed, interest-based decision-making and facilitate resolution of disputes outside of litigation. Morgan completed her basic collaborative law training through the Institute for Family Conflict Resolution.
